The App

  • Yes, absolutely. Socraly may, at some point, add advertising or premium accounts. However, there are no plans to put any content behind a subscription or paywall.

  • Socraly does not collect any information about you as an individual. The app may collect information about your device such as model and operating system in order to understand our user base better and prevent crashes.

The Content

  • Socraly endeavours to be as accurate as possible however it is not intended to be used as a scholarly source.

  • For various reasons and considering that Socraly is not intended as a scholarly source, references and citations have not been explicitly included in the app. References may be available upon request.

  • Socraly encourages constructive corrections. Feel free to submit a correction on the app via the “Suggest An Edit” button at the top of a philosopher or school page.

  • Feel free to suggest a philosopher, school or resource via the “Make A Request” option on the landing page.
